A law student at the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) was left in shock after encountering an exam question based on the viral 'Lamba for Lambo' saga involving Grammy-winning singer Burna Boy and Sophia Egbueje. shocked

The question reads: To what is now known as the "Lamba for Lambo' saga, Sophie had a one-night stand with Burna Boy, with the agreement that the latter would buy her a Lamboghini Jeep. Burna Boy reneged on the agreement, and Sophie is contemplating bring an action in court to enforce the agreement. Advice her (3 marks)"

It could be recalled that Sophia Egbueje, in a leaked audio tape, accused Burna Boy of allegedly sleeping with her in exchange for a Lamborghini but failing to fulfill his promise afterward. The explosive audio, which set the internet on fire, sparked strong criticism, laughter, and intense analysis on social media, with many debating the moral and legal implications of the allegations.

Surprisingly, UNIPORT’s Faculty of Law decided to use the controversy as a case study in their examination. Law students were reportedly asked to analyze the situation from a legal perspective, particularly focusing on contract law principles such as offer, acceptance, consideration, and whether Burna Boy’s alleged promise could be considered a legally binding agreement.

While some students found it amusing that a trending pop culture controversy made its way into their exams, others were surprised by the Faculty’s approach to making legal studies more relatable.
